Academic Research Consultation with a Librarian
Have an idea for a project, and you are interested in collecting research background information? Want to learn more about how you can use library research materials in your classes? Other questions? We can help with that.
Custom Pathfinders and Guides for Your Class
We can create custom research guides to help meet the needs of a specific class or centered around the needs of a specific assignment. If you teach a subject area and want a guide to help your students focus in on what is available related to that subject, we can customize a guide for that, as well.
Ultra Blackboard Link Creation to Online Library Resources
Do you want to link to a specific library item within your Ultra Bb course shell? We can help!
Classroom Visit (online or in person)
You can request a librarian to visit your class, online or in person. We can do a general overview of all the library has to offer, or we can help your students with finding resources for a specific assignment.
Search Strategies, Source Evaluation, and Citation Help
We specialize in helping people find what they need, assistance with evaluating quality of resources, and helping with source citation location.
Instructional Video
We can help with either finding or creating a library instructional video that you can embed in your course shell.
Course Reserves
We can assist with guidance and planning for placing items on reserve, so that your students can have access to items they need.
